How does the shopping cart work?When you purchase a book or other publication, join or renew your membership, subscribe to a journal, or register for a meeting, the item is placed in your electronic Shopping Cart. If you elect to keep shopping, you can return to the shopping cart from most Marketplace pages by clicking the white Shopping Cart icon at the top right of the content area of the page. To clear your shopping cart, you can either log out (if you are logged in) or close your browser window. What are my payment options?We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards for all online purchases. Online meeting registrations may be arranged via a preapproved purchase order. How do I get my member discount?IRA members receive reduced-price registration for meetings and a 20% discount on all book and merchandise orders. As soon as you log in to the Marketplace as a member, you will receive the member discount on all items you place in your shopping cart. If you join IRA using the Marketplace, your membership will be added to your shopping cart. As long as a membership purchase is in your cart, the member discount will be applied to all other items you purchase during your visit. What is your policy on returns and refunds?The International Reading Association offers an unconditional, no-risk guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your book order, simply return it to us within 30 days for a full refund or credit (exclusive of return shipping). For proper credit, the items should be returned with the packing list and/or original invoice stating the order number. Credit will not be given for damaged items. Requests for refunds must be made in writing (e.g., on the packing slip). Information regarding this return policy is included with every order. Most meeting registration fees are refundable as long as the cancellation request is received a set number of days before the meeting begins.
