Is it possible to teach someone to read without things like lesson plans, reading lists, and how-to publications? Of course it is.... But all of us can use a little extra help every now and then!

Linked here are IRA online resources perfect for use in the home or the classroom. They’ve been put together by experienced educators (or, in the case of Choices booklists, by experienced kids), and they’re designed to make your teaching task a little easier and a lot more effective.

Lesson plans. Every teacher knows the value of a well-constructed, classroom-tested lesson plan. Here are some of the best.
